The Asian Law Caucus is the nation’s oldest legal and civil rights organization serving the low- income Asian Pacific American Community. The ALC provides free or low-cost legal services in a variety of areas including immigration, housing, employment, juvenile justice, and education. The Juvenile Justice and Education Project at ALC provides legal advocacy, education, and policy advocacy for immigrant families. The Project currently has two focus: (1) Provides direct legal services for Limited English Proficient (LEP) families who have youth caught in the juvenile justice system, and (2) Assists youth of color with filing administrative complaints regarding violence and racial harassment in K-12 public schools.
